Diese Datenschutzerklärung gilt für alle mobile Applikationen entwickelt vom Steinbeis-Transferzentrum New Media and Data Science mittels der Technologie Augmented Art. Die Anbieter gemäß des TMG können abweichen und sind dem jeweiligen Impressum der mobilen Applikation (Menü -> Infos und Einstellungen -> Impressum und Datenschutz) zu entnehmen.

Datenschutz liegt uns (wirklich) am Herzen, weswegen die mobile Applikation keinerlei personenbezogene Daten an uns oder unserer Server schickt. Es wird lediglich direkt auf Ihrem Gerät ein Logfile abgespeichert, auf welches wir aber zu keinem Zeitpunkt irgendeinen Zugriff haben. Das Logfile enthält mit einem Zeitstempel (Datum / Uhrzeit) versehene Informationen zum aktuellen Zustand der Applikation, wie ggf. vorgefallene Abstürze, Fehlerberichte und Statusmeldungen der einzelnen Komponenten. Falls Sie je ein Problem mit der Applikation haben sollten, können Sie uns dieses Logfile zukommen lassen und wir nehmen uns dem Problem an. Bei Deinstallation der App, werden alle Logfiles automatisch gelöscht.

Die mobile Applikation funktioniert grundsätzlich im Offline-Modus. Das heißt, es muss keine aktive Verbindung mit dem Internet bestehen, um diese zu benutzen. Dennoch verfügt die App über einen sog. Aktualisierungsprozess (Updater) für die Inhalte. Wie der Name schon sagt, stellt dieser Inhaltsupdates für die Applikation zur Verfügung. Zum Beispiel wenn sich ein grober inhaltlicher Fehler eingeschlichen hat, Daten veraltet sind oder ganz neue Inhalte hinzugefügt werden läuft wird dieser Prozess genutzt. Beim Starten der Applikation wird, unter der Voraussetzung das eine Internetverbindung besteht, ein Vergleich zwischen der Version der Inhalte von Server und App durchgeführt. Falls die Versionen unterschiedlich sind, kann der Nutzer entscheiden ob er die neusten Inhalte herunterladen möchte oder nicht. Hierbei werden keinerlei personenbezogenen Daten abgefragt oder gespeichert. Wir speichern auch nicht die IP-Adressen, von welcher die Anfragen an unseren Server gesendet wurden. Zum Zweck der Wartung und Fehlersuche speichert aber auch der Server ein Logfile. Dieses enthält Statusmeldungen der einzelnen Softwarekomponenten und die die von den Apps jeweils angefragte URL. Mit Hilfe dieser Daten ist es unmöglich irgendeinen Bezug zu den Nutzern der App herzustellen und daher bleibt Ihre Identität komplett verschleiert.

Die mobile Applikation benötigt Zugriff auf die Kamera Ihres Gerätes. Auch hier werden keinerlei Daten (Fotos oder Videos) gespeichert. Die Kamera dient lediglich als Eingabe für die Augmented Reality Funktion und der damit verbundenen Berechnungen um die digitalen Inhalte korrekt auf die eingescannten Gegenstände zu projizieren.

Um Führungen durch Städte oder Museen anbieten zu können, benötigt die Applikation Zugriff auf Ihren aktuellen Standort. Dieser wird zum einen im Vordergrund, also wenn die Applikation geöffnet ist, als auch im Hintergrund, wenn die Applikation minimiert ist, abgefragt. Somit können Sie beispielsweise ihr Smartphone sperren und in die Hosentasche stecken, verpassen aber keinen Wegpunkt einer Führung, da sich das Gerät mittels Vibration und Push-Benachrichtigungen bei Ihnen meldet, sobald ein solcher Wegpunkt erreicht wurde. Die Standortabfrage können Sie jederzeit über einen Button im Hauptfenster (Pin / Navigations-Icon) widerrufen. Wir speichern keine Positionsdaten (GPS-Koordinaten) von Ihnen und schicken Sie auch an keine Server oder Dritte. Die Daten werden nur temporär zu aktuellen abfrage, ob sich ein Wegpunkt in der Nähe befindet genutzt.

Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, diese Datenschutzbestimmungen von Zeit zu Zeit zu ändern, um damit einer sich geänderten Gesetzeslage oder der Erweiterung des Funktionsumfanges Rechnung zu tragen. Sie sollten daher die Datenschutzbestimmungen regelmäßig lesen, um über den Schutz Ihrer Daten informiert zu sein. Durch die weitere Nutzung der mobilen Applikation erklären Sie sich mit dieser Datenschutzerklärung in ihrer jeweils geltenden Fassung einverstanden.

This privacy policy applies to all mobile applications developed by the Steinbeis-Transferzentrum New Media and Data Science using the technology Augmented Art. The providers according to the german Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz; TMG) can differ and can be found in the respective legal notice of the mobile application (Menu -> Info and Settings -> Imprint and Privacy Policy)

Data protection is (really) important to us, which is why this mobile application does not send any personal data to us or our servers. It is only stored directly on your device a log file to which we have but at any time have any access. The log file contains information provided with a time stamp (date / time) on the current status of the application, such as any crashes, error reports and status messages of the individual components. If you ever have a problem with this application, you can send us this logfile and we'll tackle the problem. When the app is uninstalled, all log files are automatically deleted.

The mobile application basically works in offline mode. That is, there need not be an active connection to the Internet to use it. Nevertheless, the app has a so-called updating process for content. As the name implies, this content provides updates for the application. For example, if a gross content error has crept in, data is outdated or new content is being added, this process will be used. When starting the application, a comparison is made between the version of the contents of server and app, provided that an internet connection exists. If the versions are different, the user can decide whether to download the latest content or not. No personal data is requested or stored here. We also do not store the IP addresses from which the requests were sent to our server. For the purpose of maintenance and troubleshooting, however, the server also saves a logfile. This contains status messages of the individual software components and the URL requested by the apps. With the help of this data, it is impossible to relate anything to the users of the app and therefore your identity remains completely obscured.

The mobile application needs access to the camera of your device. Again, no data (photos or videos) are stored. The camera serves merely as input to the Augmented Reality function and related calculations to correctly project the digital content onto the scanned items.

In order to be able to offer guided tours through cities or museums, the application needs access to your current location. On the one hand, this will be in the foreground, i.e. when the application is open and in the background, when the application is minimized. So you can use your smartphone, for example lock and put in your pocket, but never miss a waypoint of a guided tour, as the device notifies you via vibration and push notifications, once such a waypoint has been reached. You can revoke the location query at any time using a button in the main window (pin / navigation icon). We do not store your position data (GPS coordinates) and do not send them to any servers or third parties. The data is only temporary for current queries, whether a waypoint is nearby is used.

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy from time to time, in order to take account of a changed legal situation or the expansion of the range of functions. You should therefore read the data protection regulations regularly in order to be informed about the protection of your data. By continuing to use the mobile application, you agree to the current version of this data protection declaration.
